IIT JEE 2011 is considered as one of the prominent entrance tests in India, conducted for the admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate level programmes in the field of engineering and technology. The Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE) 2011 is scheduled on April 20, 2011. The competitive entrance test is conducted through a rotational policy between 15 IITs, each located in Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mandi, Mumbai, Patna, Ropar and Roorkee. The institutions are accompanied with Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (IT-BHU) Varanasi and Indian School of Mines (ISM) Dhanbad. IIT Joint Entrance Examination 2011 is conducted for the undergraduate as well as postgraduate level programmes, given below.

Any candidate, who has passed higher secondary certificate examination (10+2) with not less than 60% marks in science stream, can apply for appearing in IIT JEE 2011, for getting admission in the undergraduate level courses. For postgraduate level programmes, students must have successfully passed Bachelor’s level of examination in the relevant stream, from any recognized University. The candidates, who belong to SC/ST/PH categories, can also apply for the exam, provided they have fulfilled all the eligibility conditions.
