GATE Exam is conducted for those aspirants, who are seeking their admission in postgraduate level courses in the various branches of Engineering/Technology/Science/Pharmacy/Architecture, offered by various institutes/universities in India. The entrance test is also known as Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE 2014 will be conducted under the administration of Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, on behalf of the National Coordinating Board of GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD) Government of India.
