DU LLM Entrance Exam is amongst the most desiring entrance examinations in the field of Law and lakhs of students sit every year with the aspiration of making it big to obtain admission into the LLM programme of the University. The entrance examination judges the candidates’ ability to tackle the adverse situation and hence, the pattern of examination is extremely tough and exclusively made for the aspiring legal professionals. After the entrance examination, the University conducts counseling for admission and as per the merit, it admits the best students for the two year LLM programme.
Aspirants must pass either three-year or five years of LLB degree examination from a recognized University / College with minimum 50% aggregate marks. There is a 5% relaxation on marks for Physically Handicapped students. As per the norms of the University, the minimum percentile of marks required for admission has been set to 45% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/CW category. The University doesn’t give any relaxation to candidates belonging to OBC category. Graduation final year students who are waiting for their results are also eligible to apply. However, they have to qualify the examination before the counseling, otherwise their application will not be considered for admission.
