The course is open to all girl students who are 10+2 passed or equivalent exam, from a recognized Board / Council in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English (PCME) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and English (PCMBE) with at least 50 % aggregate marks in taken together. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible to take entrance test.
Only such Indian Nationals are eligible for admission whose parents are natives of the State Bihar / Domicile of the State of Bihar / Registered refugee of Bihar / Resident of other States but employee in Government of Bihar / Are Govt of India / Public sector undertaking employee posted in Bihar / Are employee of United Nation posted in Bihar. Application must be accomplished with an attested copy of Residential Certificate from DM / SDO civil of the place of Permanent Residence.

Admission is based on merit in entrance exam conducted by the LN Mithila University, Darbhanga. The WIT/University reserves the right to fix minimum qualifying marks for a candidate to be declared successful at the Entrance Test.
10% seats are reserved under NRI/Payment quota and 5% of seats are allotted to the wards of permanent employees of LNMU, Darbhanga (wife & unmarried daughter). Reservation is given to Scheduled Caste (SC) 16%, Scheduled Tribe (ST) 01%, Extremely Backward Class (EBC) 18% and Backward Class (BC) 15% of total intake.
