Applicants need a pass in HSE /SSC /VHSE 3 Year Engineering Diploma or Equivalent With minimum of 50%marks for Mathematics and average 50% for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry clubbed. For Diploma holders the threshold for minimum requirement is 50%marks in final examination. For backward communities (SEBC) including Muslims, minimum requirement is 45% marks. For SC/ST candidates just passing the qualification exam is enough.
Engineering Diploma holders with 60% marks (SE, BC-55% and SC/ST a pass) in the diploma exam qualify for admission to the 2nd year.
