Situated in Kollam (Kerala), Valiyam Memorial College of Teacher Education came into existence in 2007. It was incepted under the management of Valiyam Memorial Educational & Charitable Society. The teacher training institute is affiliated to University of Kerala. Valiyam Memorial College of Teacher Education is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The college conducts teacher’s training programme at the undergraduate level - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed). The course, which is one-year full time programme, is imparted as per the rules and regulations of the University.
