The Zamorin's Guruvayurapan College, located in Kozhikode/Calicut of Kerala, is an aided co-educational college. The college was established as a High School in the year 1878 by the then Zamorin Raja of Calicut H.H.Manavikraman Maharaja Bahadur K.C.S.I. In the year 1879, the school was affiliated to the University of Madras as a second grade college and in 1900; it was named as The Zamorin’s College. After getting affiliation from the University of Calicut in 1968, the college was renamed as “The Zamorin’s Guruvayurappan College”. The college is affiliated to University of Calicut and also accredited with a “B++” certificate by NAAC. The college offers various undergraduate and post graduate level courses in Arts, Science, and Commerce faculties. Besides, the college offers professional courses like PGDCA and Diploma in Graphic Designing.

Undergraduate:
The candidates who have passed their 10+2 level examination of Kerala State Examination Board or its equivalent in any discipline are eligible for the B A/B Com courses. Those who have completed the same in science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.
Post Graduate:
The graduates in relevant subjects are eligible for the MA/M Sc/M Com/M S W courses offered here.

The admission of the selected candidates is done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by them in their 10+2 level and as per the norms of University of Calicut.
