Founded in 1993, Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) is a constituent college of the prestigious Symbiosis International University. Popularly known as SIMS, the institute is located at Range Hills of Khadki in Pune, Maharashtra. To impart quality management education for the armed forces personnel and their dependents, the Institute was established by the combined efforts of The Ministry of Defence, Government of India and the then Symbiosis Group. The Institute has, since then, come up a long way and become a premiere hub of management studies for Defence Personnel and their close relatives. Executive MBAEligibility:
Post Graduate Diploma:
Graduates from any recognized Indian / Foreign University with at least 45% marks in aggregate and four years’ post qualification work experience, excluding gaps after graduation, are eligible for the Executive PGDM program.
Post Graduate:
MBA:
Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for the MBA program. Candidates under Defence category can also apply under the category of Ex-Serviceman subject to some guidelines set by the Institute.
Executive MBA:
Any graduate from a recognized University with three years of post qualification experience can apply for the Executive MBA program.

Admission of the selected candidates to MBA programs is made strictly on All India Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) score, followed by personality assessment including two group exercises, personal interview and psychometric evaluation.
Executive MBA:
Admission to Exe-MBA program is made through merit of the students with Group Discussion and Personal Interview, conducted by SIMS.
