Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM) is located in Pune, Maharashtra. The institute is a constituent of Symbiosis International Educational Centre. SIBM was established in 1978. It is considered as one of the premier Business Schools in India. In 2002, Symbiosis International Educational Centre got the Deemed University status, because of its excellent academic record. However, in 2006, the University Grants Commission withdrew the word 'Deemed' and renamed the university as Symbiosis International University (SIU).
Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ Grade. The institute's objective is to make itself more valuable to the aspirants in terms of quality in education, research as well as service to the management industry and the society. Eligibility:
Post Graduate Diploma:
The candidate must have Bachelor’s degree from any statutory University or foreign University
Post Graduate:
To be eligible, the candidate must have done his/her Graduation with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST), from any recognized University. Final year appearing candidates may also apply. For the courses of Executive MBA, the candidate should have Bachelor’s degree, with five years of work experience after Graduation.
Admission Procedure:
Post Graduate:
The admission procedure is on basis of the Symbiosis National Aptitude test (SNAP) Test, group discussion and personal interview. For the course of Executive MBA, the selection is based on the entrance test and personal interview.
Post Graduate Diploma:
Entrance test is held for the admission in this PG program.
