The college was started in the year 2000-01 to cater to the educational needs of people living in and around areas of Bobbili town. The candidates who have completed their P U examinations of Andhra State P U Board or its equivalent recognized as 10+2 level in science subjects are eligible to apply for the B Sc courses offered here. Those who have completed the same in science/commerce subjects are eligible for the B Com courses offered here.
