For Post Basic B.SC :
Candidates should have passed Intermediate or its equivalent (10+2) examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (Biology) as optional subjects and General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course from any institution recognized by the Government of Andhra Pradesh / Nursing Council of India. Candidates should have completed 21 years and should not be more than 45 years of age as on 31-12-2009. For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years applicants and they should have completed 2 years of service as a Staff Nurse.
For B.SC:
Candidates should have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent in science stream or Intermediate Vocational (Nursing or MPHW) or Inter, with Bridge course of Biological and Physical Sciences and should have secured minimum aggregate of 45% marks. In case of SC, ST categories, 5% relaxation is allowed. Candidates should have completed 17 years age and should not have exceeded 35 years age as on December 31st of the year of admission. For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years.
Diploma:
Applicants, who have passed 10+2 in any stream with minimum aggregate of 40 % from any recognized Board, are eligible to apply for the course. Candidate must be of 17 years to 35 years age as on December 31st of the year of admission.
Post Graduate:
Candidates should have passed B.Sc (Nursing) with minimum of 55% aggregate marks and in respect of SC/ ST, the candidates should have scored at least 50% in aggregate, from any University / Institution recognized or established under any State or Central Act/ Indian Nursing Council. The candidate should be a registered Nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration Council and have 1 year work experience. Candidates should not have exceeded 45 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. The age limit is relaxed by 3 years in case of SC and ST candidates.
