Sir C R Reddy Autonomous College, located at Eluru, in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh is an aided co-educational college. Named after Sir Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy, an educationist and the then Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University, the college was established in 1945 and named as Sir C.R. Reddy Municipal College. Later in 1947, the college was renamed as Sir C R Reddy College. The college is well equipped with all the basic facilities within a nice and campus. Sir C R Reddy Autonomous College is affiliated to Andhra University and accredited with “A” certificate by NAAC. The college offers several undergraduate and post graduate courses like B A, B Sc, B Com, M A (HRM/Economics/Political Science), M Sc (Mathematics/Physics/Chemistry), M B A (Master of Business Administration), and M C A (Master of Computer Applications). Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The candidates who have passed two year P U examination of Andhra P U Board or its equivalent in any subject are eligible for the B A/B Com courses in respective subjects. Those who have completed the same in Science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.
Post Graduate:
Any graduate can apply for the M B A/M C A courses offered here. The graduates in various Arts and Science subjects are eligible for the M A and M Sc courses in respective subjects offered here.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
The admission of the selected candidates is done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in PU level as per the norms of Andhra University.
Post Graduate:
The admission for M A and M Sc courses is held on the basis of merit in AUCET entrance examination. Similarly, the admission into M B A and M C A courses is done on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in ICET entrance examination.
