Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics is situated in Margao, Goa. Established in 1973, it is one of the well known commerce colleges in India. The commerce college is managed and run by Vidya Vikas Mandal, which is an educational society. In fact, Damodar College of Commerce & Economics was the first college started by the society. Initially, it was affiliated to University of Bombay. Now, the college is affiliated to University of Goa.
For imparting quality education in the field of commerce, Damodar College of Commerce & Economics is accredited with 'B++' level grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and recognized by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), for their respective programs. To impart quality education, the commerce college imparts undergraduate and postgraduate programs in commerce as well as several programs in different streams of education. The college is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC).

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
To be eligible, the aspirants must have passed 10+2 level examination or its equivalent in commerce stream (any stream for BCA and BFS), from any recognized Board.
Post Graduate Diploma:
Graduation in any stream with at least 40% marks from any recognized University is mandatory, to be eligible for this course.
Post Graduate:
The aspirants should have done B.Com with minimum 40% marks, from Goa University or any other recognized University.

For the admission, a merit list is prepared on the basis of candidates' marks in academic qualifying examination.
Post Graduate:
The aspirants are selected on merit basis, determined marks secured at the graduation level.
Post Graduate Diploma:
