Established in 1986, Shaheed Bhagat Singh (SBS) College of Pharmacy is situated in Amritsar, Punjab. It is managed and run by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Educational Society. The pharmacy college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Pharmacy is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. It is also recognized by Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh. To impart quality education, the college imparts courses in pharmacy at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels - Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy), Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Undergraduate:
The admission seekers need to have passed HSCE Board examination or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics, from any statutory state/national Board.
Diploma:
The candidates must have cleared 10+2 level of examination with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics, from any recognized Board.
Post Graduate:
Graduation in Pharmacy with minimum 55% marks needs to have passed by the candidates, to be eligible for this programme.

The candidates are required to appear in Common Entrance Test (CET), which is conducted by the University.

Post Graduate:
The candidates with having valid GATE scores are given preference. For the non-GATE candidates, the admissions are done on the merit basis determined by their marks in the qualifying examination.
