Founded in 1967 in Kolkata in West Bengal, Satyapriya Roy College of Education is a Government-aided college offering one-year Bachelor of Education course. The college is a co-educational institution, which is affiliated to West Bengal State University and recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Formerly, the college was named as All Bengal Teachers’ Training College, which rechristened itself to Satyapriya Roy College of Education, in order to acknowledge the contribution of Satyapriya Roy in the field of education. Satyapriya Roy College of Education has qualified and experienced lecturers to assist its students.
