S P Mandal’s Arts and Commerce College, situated in Raibag, Karnataka, was established as an Arts College in the year 1974. Later in 1979 the Commerce faculty was introduced. The college was started by Shikshan Prasarak Mandal of Raibag to cater to the needs of higher education for the economically and socially backward classes of this region. S P Mandal’s Arts and Commerce College was affiliated to Karnatak University and recognized by the Government of Karnataka and UGC, in the year 1997. Later, the college was also accredited with a “B+” certificate by NAAC. Surrounded by a beautiful and spacious campus area, the college is equipped with all the basic educational amenities for the all round development of the students. The college offers undergraduate courses in Arts and Commerce streams.
