RIMT Institute of Engineering and Technology, also known as RIMT Engineering College, is situated in Mandi Gobingarh, Punjab. The college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar. RIMT Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2003. The college offers various graduate and postgraduate courses, which are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Punjab.
RIMT Institute of Engineering and Technology came into being under the guidance and support of Shri Om Parkash Educational and Social Welfare Trust. The college is the second educational institution established by the Trust, the first being RIMT Institute of Management & Computer Technology (incepted in 2001). Soon after the success of the aforementioned institutions, the Trust went on to start some more educational institutes, which includes RIMT College of Architecture (2004), RIMT Polytechnic College (2005) and RIMT College of Education (2005).

Applicants should have passed 10+2 (Non-Medical) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Post Graduate:
M Tech
Graduation in relevant stream is mandatory to be eligible for this programme.
MCA
The eligible candidates should have passed BCA or have graduated with Mathematics/ Statistics / Quantitative Techniques / Any branch of Computer Science/ Computer Application as one of the subjects at graduation or 10+2 level.
MBA
Applicants should have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

Admissions are done on the basis of Combined Entrance Test (CET) conducted by PTU, Jalandhar, All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) and qualifying examination.

Candidates are short listed on the basis of their marks in the GATE Exam.
MBA/MCA
Admission for MBA is done on the basis of MAT / MET entrance exams.
