Located in Panaji district of Goa, Nirmala Institute of Education offers one year duration Bachelor of Education programme. The college, established in 1963, is functioning under the management of Nirmala Education Society. Initially affiliated to Bombay University, the college later, in 1985, got affiliated to the newly formed Goa University. Approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college conducts a number of education courses. The main objective of the college is to develop universal values in teachers, which includes understanding of strengths and requirement of the diverse student population.
