Modern Education Society's (MES) College of Law was established in 1974-75 under the aegis of the Society. Located in Sirsi (Karnataka), the college has been receiving grants from the Government of Karnataka since 1987. The law college is affiliated to Karnataka University, Dharwad. Modern Education Society's College of Law is approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India, New Delhi. MES College of Law Sirsi is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Currently, the college conducts an undergraduate course in the discipline of law, that is, Bachelor of Laws (LLB). Under the guidelines of BCI, the law college offers this program for the duration of three years. MES College of Law spreads across 6 ½ acres of land and it has a number of modern facilities for the overall development of its students.
