Mizoram Law College, which is located in Aizwal (Mizoram), was formerly known as Aizwal Law College. It was started in 1983 and is counted among top law colleges in eastern part of India. The college of law works with an objective of imparting excellent education in legal studies to the people of the region. Mizoram Law College is affiliated to Mizoram University and approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India, New Delhi, for its academic program. The college imparts course in law at the undergraduate degree level, that is, Bachelor of Laws (LLB). It is a three-year full time program offered as per the set guidelines of Bar Council of India. Mizoram Law College has a number of modern facilities for the students.
