MET’s School of Engineering was established in 2002. The engineering college is located in Thrissur/Trichur, Kerala. The college is affiliated to University of Calicut and approved by the All Council for Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi. The college is governed by Mala Educational Trust (MET) under the self-financing scheme of the state government. MET’s School of Engineering offers various courses in different streams of engineering and technology, at the undergraduate level. The college is well equipped with various facilities provided to its students.

Applicants who have successfully passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Mathematics separately, and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Bio - Technology/ Computer Science / Biology put together are eligible. Diploma of Engineering holders can also apply. Candidates belonging to socially and economically backward classes are given a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination.

50% of seats are filled on the basis of Common Entrance Test conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Trivandrum. Rest of the seats go to Management Quota. Of these 35% are filled considering their marks in Plus 2 exam and entrance exam. 15% of the seats are kept aside for NRIs.
