Established in 2003, MES Medical College, in Perinthalmanna of Malappuram District, is among the renowned medical colleges in Kerala. The college is under the administration of MES (Muslim Education Society), which has been operating various educational programs for the state of Kerala. The medical college is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), the State Government of Kerala and the University of Calicut.

The candidate should have Master's Degree in the subject concerned or any other relevant subject, approved by the Board of Studies, with not less than 55% marks of the University or equivalent degree of any other Indian or Foreign Universities. For OBC candidates, 5% mark relaxation shall be given. In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category, only a pass in the examination is needed.

The applying candidate will be required to appear in an examination conducted by the University. On the basis of performance shown in admission test, the admission will be considered.
