LBS Government Ayurveda college is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur. Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Ayurved Mahavidyalaya was established in 1982, with the aim of providing suitable medical treatment for the people of the region as well as spreading the knowledge of earliest form of medical sciences - Ayurveda - in the locality.
