Kittel Arts College, situated in Dharwad (Karnataka), is named after the well known Kannada Savant and lexicographer Rev. Dr. Ferdinand Kittel of Karnataka. In 1988, the former Kittel College was bifurcated into two different institutions namely Kittel Arts College and Kittel Science College. Managed by Karnataka Northern Diocese, Church of South India, Basel Mission Higher Education Centre, Kittel Arts College is affiliated to Karnataka University.
Located on the Poona-Bangalore National Highway No.4, Kittel Arts College is easily accessible and houses a spacious campus with all modern amenities. The college provides BA degrees in different career oriented subjects including Education, Geography, Psychology, and Economics along with many regular subjects. Besides the college imparts compulsory subjects including Indian Constitution, Human Rights and Environmental Studies, Personality Development and Communication, and Computer Application at different stages, to enhance the potential and skills of each student.
