Situated in Kollam (Kerala), Karmela Rani Training College is one of the oldest teacher’s training institutes in Kerala. It was established in 1960 under the aegis of Latin Catholic Diocese of Quilon. The college is a Christian backward minority institution. Affiliated to University of Kerala (Thiruvananthapuram), Karmela Rani Training College is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bangalore. The college offers courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level - Bachelor of Education (B. Ed) and Master of Education (M. Ed).
