Ideal College of Arts and Sciences, situated at Kakinada, in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh, is an aided autonomous college. The college was established in the year 1974 to cater to the need of quality higher education for the people of Kakinada and its nearby areas. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The candidates who have passed two year P U examination of Andhra P U Board or its equivalent in any subject are eligible for the B A/B Com courses in respective subjects. Those who have completed the same in Science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.
Post Graduate:
The candidates who have completed their graduation in Arts or Science subjects are eligible for the M A or M Sc courses in different subjects respectively. The graduate in any subject can apply for the MBA/MCA courses offered here.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
The admission of the selected candidates is done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in PU level as per the norms of Andhra University.
Post Graduate:
The admission of the short listed candidates for M A and M Sc courses is done on the basis of merit as per the norms of Andhra University. The selection of the candidates for MBA and MCA courses is based on the performance of the candidates in Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET), conducted by State Government of Andhra Pradesh.
