IAAN School of Mass Communication, situated at a prominent location (New Friends Colony) in New Delhi, is a component of Prabhu Dayal Kasere Charitable Trust, a registered Trust. The college commenced its first academic session in 1999-2000. Affiliated to Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal, ISMC New Delhi is also a prominent study Centre of Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar. The college offers various courses in journalism, at undergraduate as well as postgraduate level degree and diploma levels.
Considering the numerous career opportunities offered by the media industry, IAAN School of Mass Communication tries to impart high standards of education, training students in almost every aspect of the industry. The institute also offers considerable practical exposure to its students. It boasts of its association with numerous media personnel (as guest lecturers), who cater to the educational needs of their students and share their professional experience with them. The college boasts of starting its own Educational TV channel, named, ‘IAAN TV’, soon.
