Gurunanak Institute of Dental Science & Research is located in Kolkata, West Bengal. Established in 1997, is the first Dental College in the private sector in the state of West Bengal. Gurunanak Institute of Dental Science & Research is affiliated to the West Bengal University of Health Sciences, and has been also approved by the Dental Council of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and the Government of West Bengal.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidate must have passed Higher Secondary / Intermediate / Equivalent Examination from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Science subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English taken together.
Post Graduate:
The candidates should have passed Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery (BDS) course from a recognized University.
Admission Procedure:

Admission is done on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in competitive examination held by the Government of West Bengal.
Post Graduate:
The candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in West Bengal Post Graduate Dental Admission Test Examination (WBPGDAT) conducted by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS).
