Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Applicants should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination in Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects and an optional subject out of Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology / Computer Science conducted by a recognized Board / University / Council
For admission to second year the eligible candidates should have passed Diploma in any Engineering Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education, Chandigarh or Diploma / Certificate course from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal (District Sangrur) or such Examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education.
Post Graduate:
Candidates, for admission to M Tech in Production Engineering, should be BE / B Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing / Welding / Material Science / Metallurgy Engineering securing atleast 55% marks in aggregate.
For M Tech in Industrial Engineering, a candidate should be BE / B Tech in any branch of Engineering, and admission to Structural Engineering / Geo-Technical Engineering requires BE / B Tech in Civil Engineering for Geo-Technical Engineering and Soil Mechanics & Foundation Engineering.
For admission to M Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, a candidate should be BE / B Tech in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology, and for M Tech in Power Engineering, BE / B Tech in Electrical / Electrical and Electronics / Electronics and Instrumentations / Applied Electronics / Instrumentations and Control Engineering is compulsory.
For M Tech in Power Engineering, candidates should be graduate in Electrical Engineering, and for M Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, a candidate should be BE / B Tech in Electronics and Communication / Electronics and Instrumentation / Applied Electronics / Instrumentation and Control / Electrical and Electronics / M Sc in Physics (with specialization in Electronics).
For MBA the eligible candidates should have passed graduation in any stream.

Undergraduate:
Admissions to B Tech are done on the basis of CET/ AIEEE.
For Lateral entry admissions are done on the basis of LEET.
Entrance Test: AIEEE Exam, Punjab CET
Post Graduate:
Admissions are done on the basis of GATE entrance examination. If case of any seat left vacant, admission is offered to B Tech or its equivalent qualified candidates.
Admissions to MBA are done on the basis of MET entrance test.
