Grace College of Nursing is approved and recognized by Indian Nursing College (INC) and the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The institution was established in 1988, under the guidance of Holy Spirit. It is aimed at imparting the training to the aspiring nurses, through its General Nursing & Midwifery course. Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Botany, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry and English, from a recognized Board. Those who have passed intermediate vocational (nursing) or inter with bridge course of biological and physical sciences and should have scored at least 45% marks in aggregate, in Botany, Zoology, PHYSICS and Chemistry, are also eligible to apply. Relaxation of 5% is there for SC/ST candidates. The minimum age limit of the candidates is 17 years at the time of admission, while the maximum age limit is 35 years of age as on December 31st of the year of admission. Relaxation of 3 years in the upper age limit is there for SC/ST candidates.

Final selection of candidates is done only on the basis of their performance in counseling, conducted by the university. While selecting the candidates, their merit in the qualifying exam is also considered.
