Government Degree College, situated at Chodavaram, in Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh, is a co-education college run by Government of Andhra Pradesh. The college was established in 1981 to impart the quality higher education for the people of Chodavaram and its surrounded areas. The candidates who have passed two year P U examination of Andhra P U Board or its equivalent in any subject are eligible for the B A/B Com courses in respective subjects. Those who have completed the same in Science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.
