Goa College of Pharmacy (GCP) Goa was started in 1842, under the Portuguese rule. In 1963, (after the liberation in 1961), the college was renamed as ‘Goa College of Pharmacy’ and was shifted to its current location, which was formerly a Portuguese School. The courses offered by the college are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college is run by the Government of Goa and affiliated to University of Goa. Under the governance of State Government, Goa College of Pharmacy offers degree as well as diploma level courses at the undergraduate level along with Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) programme. The college boasts of ample basic amenities for the smooth conduct of its courses within the campus.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in science stream with not less than 50% aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Biotechnology taken together.
Diploma:
The candidates with pass in 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board in science stream with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics as mainstream subjects are eligible. Candidates, who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from National Open School, are not eligible.
Post Graduate:
B. Pharm degree holders with minimum 55% aggregate marks are eligible. Candidates with B. Pharm degree from Goa University are given preference.

Selection purely depends on merit basis and based on the score obtained by the candidate in Goa common entrance test (GCET).

Post Graduate:
Admissions are done considering candidates scores in All India PG entrance examination and qualifying examination. Weight age is given in the ratio of 70: 30.

Admissions are purely based on merit.
