Established in 2006-07 in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, Florence Nightingale School of Nursing & Midwifery offers various levels of nursing courses to young aspirants. Courses that are available with the institute are Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife (ANM) and General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM). The college offers these courses under the affiliation of Mahakaushal Nurses Registration Council, Bhopal, whereas B Sc Basic, Post Basic B Sc and M Sc Nursing are affiliated to Jiwaji University. The institute is approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC) for the aforementioned nursing courses. Florence Nightingale School of Nursing has all the basic amenities with well qualified and experienced lecturers to train its students.

BSc nursing:
Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English conducted by a recognized Board or Council. Candidates must be of 17 years at the time of admission or should complete the said age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. Reservations and relaxation are as per the norms of Indian Nursing Council.
Post basic Nursing:
Candidates should have passed regular General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course or distance GNM course with 2 years of experienced from any institution recognized by the State Government/ Nursing Council of India. Candidates should have completed 21 years and should not be more than 45 years of age as on 31-12-2009. For SC/ST candidates upper age limit is relaxed by 3 years applicants should have completed 2 years of service as a Staff Nurse.
Diploma:
ANM:
Candidate should have completed 10th or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or Council. Reservations and relaxation are done as per the norms of Indian Nursing Council.
GNM:
Candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with preferably science subject or vocational nursing group conducted by a recognized Board or Council. Minimum and maximum age limit is 17 and 35 years. Reservations and relaxation are done as per the norms of Indian Nursing Council.
Post Graduate:
MSc nursing:
Candidates should have passed B Sc (Nursing) with minimum of 55% aggregate marks and in respect of SC/ ST Candidates 50%, from any University / Institution recognized or established under any State or Central Act/ Indian Nursing Council, The candidate should be a registered Nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with any state Nursing Registration council and have 1 year experience. Candidates should not have completed 45 years as on 31st December of the year of admission, is relaxed by 3 years in case of SC and ST candidates.
