Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College is one of the premier institutions of Himachal Pradesh. Situated in Tanda of Kangra District, the college was started in 1996. However, it started functioning in 1997, when staff was posted in the college. The college got permanent recognition from Medical Council of India (MCI), in 2004. It is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University. Located in an area of well spread campus of 46 hectares of land, Dr. Rajendar Prasad Government Medical College offers undergraduate and postgraduate level coures in medical field.
