Established in 1995, Dr Navalar Nedunchezhiyan College of Engineering Cuddalore was an initiative of Arumugham Mudhaliyar Soranam Educational Trust. The college was set up with the motive of imparting value based engineering and technology education to the students of Cuddalore and its nearby regions. The college is affiliated to Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. Undergraduate:
Candidates who have passed 10+2/HSC examination, or its equivalent, from a recognized Board/University with minimum 50% (General Category), 45% (BC), 40% (MBC) and mere pass (SC/ST) are eligible to apply for the BE/B.Tech courses, through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) Test or any other State/National level test accepted by Anna University.
Candidates, who have completed a diploma course from Tamil Nadu State Board of Technical Education, or any other approved institution, can apply directly for admission into second year of BE/B.Tech courses under the lateral entry scheme. However, they should secure 50% (General Category), 45% (BC), 40% (MBC) and mere pass (SC/ST) in the fifth/sixth semester of the diploma.
Post Graduate:
Graduate candidates who have studied mathematics at graduation or 10+2 level can apply for the MCA course offered here.

Selection is made on TNEA merit basis and as per norms of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
Post Graduate:
Candidates are offered admission on the basis of marks obtained in the graduation and according to the rules and regulations prescribed by the competent authority.
