The Andhra University is one of the premier institutes for higher studies in India. It was established in the year 1926, and is located in Vishakhapatnam. The campus is surrounded by natural beauty and the whole area is just breathtaking. It has the Bay of Bengal on one side and the green Kailasgiri hill ranges to the other. The Andhra University was founded by Dr. C.R.Reddy who was also the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
The College of Engineering of Andhra University is the campus college of the University. When the College was formed, it had a Department of Engineering with Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering as the main branches. In the year 1960, the Engineering Department was shifted to the spacious North campus which spreads over 150 acres of land. The Department of Chemical Technology which was founded in 1933 was shifted to the same campus in 1962, which added strength to the Engineering Departments. The College of Engineering, Andhra University is an autonomous College of Engineering.

To be eligible for this program, the candidate should have passed 10+2 examination of the board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh.
Post Graduate:
Candidate must have done Graduation in BE/B.Tech from Andhra University or its equivalent.
M Sc
Minimum qualification for the program is that the candidate should have done B. Sc from Andhra University or its equivalent.
Master in Computer Applications
Candidates should have cleared the qualifying examination (10+2+3) or equivalent with Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level.
Integrated:
The candidate must be Graduate with good marks in the relevant stream.
Undergraduate:
Admission for the program is done on the basis of the Candidate?s score in the EAMCET, which is a common Entrance Test held by the Government of Andhra Pradesh
