Ch S D St. Theresa's Autonomous College for Women, located at Eluru, in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh is a self financing college. The college was established in the year 1953 by a missionary society, named the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Ann of Providence. The college is well equipped with all the required facilities within an open and spacious campus. Ch S D St. Theresa's Autonomous College for Women is affiliated to Andhra University and accredited with a five star and “A” grade certificate by NAAC.
It is the first college to be assessed in the state of Andhra Pradesh and 8th college in India by NAAC. The college is awarded with the unique distinction from UGC; College with Potential for Excellence for its excellent standard of teaching. Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The candidates who have passed two year P U examination of Andhra P U Board or its equivalent in any subject are eligible for the B A/B Com courses in respective subjects. Those who have completed the same in Science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.
Post Graduate:
Any graduate can apply for the M B A/M C A courses offered here. The graduates in various Arts and Science subjects are eligible for the M A and M Sc courses offered here.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
The admission of the selected candidates is done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in PU level as per the norms of Andhra University.
Post Graduate:
The admission for M A and M Sc courses is held on the basis of merit in AUCET entrance examination. Similarly, the admission into M B A and M C A courses is done on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in ICET entrance examination.
