Beant College of Engineering & Technology, also known as BCET, is situated at Gurdaspur, Punjab. The college is an autonomous institution, incepted by Government of Punjab in 1995. It is also promoted by the state government. BCET is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar. The college conducts technical courses, which are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
Beant College of Engineering & Technology is accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), for imparting quality technical education in various branches of engineering. The eligible candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and one subject out of Chemistry / Biology / Bio-technology / Computer Science.
For admissions to B Tech in second year the applicants should have passed diploma or equivalent examination in Engineering from Punjab State Board of Technical Education or from any recognized University/Board.
Post Graduate:
The eligible candidates should have passed B.E./ B. Tech with an aggregate of 55% marks in Mechanical Engg. / Industrial /Production/Manufacturing/ welding / Metallurgy degree of Punjab Technical University or its equivalent.

Admissions to B Tech are done on the basis of Combined Entrance Test, CET, conducted by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar
Lateral Entry admission to the B.Tech programme at the 2nd year level is done on the basis of merit prepared from the marks secured in the Diploma stream through the counseling conducted by Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar.
