B E S’s Merchants Arts and Commerce College, situated at Byadgi, Karnataka, was started in the year 1984, to make higher education within easy reach of all the aspirants residing in the remotest areas of the region. From 1989, the college came under the preview of grant-in-aid status. B E S’s Merchants Arts and Commerce College is affiliated to Karnataka University. Spread over four acres of land, the college provides all the basic and modern equipments for the betterment of students. It offers undergraduate courses in arts and commerce streams. Run by Byadgi Education Society, the college also imparts three PUC level job-oriented courses, to make the students socially competent.
