Established in 1972, the college has started as an Arts College by the management teams of Anjuman-e-Islam, a premiere educational institution of Karnataka. The candidates who have completed their two years of Pre University (10+2) examinations of Pre University Board in Karnataka or H S Sc / C B S E / I C S E or any other course as equivalent to Karnataka University are eligible for the Bachelor level course in Arts and Commerce. The candidates who have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examinations with at least two science subjects from a recognized Board are eligible for the undergraduate science courses.
