Amal College of Advance Studies, located at Santhigramam, in Malappuram district of Kerala, is a co-educational college, aided by Govt of Kerala. The college was founded in the year 2005 near Eranhimagad, a place well known for tribal settlements and teak plantations and situated on the banks of river Chaliyar. The candidates who have passed their 10+2 level examination of Kerala State Examination Board or its equivalent with at least 45% marks in any discipline are eligible for the BA/B Com/BTHM courses.

The admission of the selected candidates for BA/B Com programs is done on the basis of percentage of marks obtained by them in their 10+2 level and that for BTHM program is made as per the scores of the students in the entrance test, conducted by University of Calicut for BTHM only.
