Akshara Degree College, situated at Padmatula, in Srikakulam district of Andhra Pradesh, is a self financed co-education college. The college was established in the year 2008 to provide value based higher education for the rural people of Padmatula in Kanchili Mandal and its nearby areas. The college is spread over a quiet campus area along with well maintained infrastructure which creates a suitable atmosphere of learning. The candidates who have passed two years P U examination of Andhra P U Board or its equivalent in any subject are eligible for the several B A courses. Those who have completed the same in Science subjects are eligible for the B Sc courses offered here.
