Ajjappa Gadami Arts & Commerce College is located at Munavalli, Karnataka. Established with the aim of providing Higher Education to rural and needy students, the college was started by the Karnataka Education Board with total strength of 40 students, in 1955. At that time, Janata Shikshana Sangha managed the institution with the help of Sri Panchalingeswar Janata Gurukula High School.
From 1972 onwards, Ajjappa Gadami Arts & Commerce College is running under the supervision of a renowned social worker and educationist, late Sri. A. A. Renake. Now several pre-primary and junior colleges are functioning under Janata Shikshana Sangha. Along with conventional arts and commerce courses, Ajjappa Gadami Arts & Commerce College is providing knowledge about business and industrial relations through personal development classes, with an aim to produce future business leaders.
