For admissions in second year of B Tech the eligible candidates should have passed Diploma in Engineering from Punjab State Board of Technical Education or any recognized university/board.
Post Graduate:
The candidates should have passed B Tech (ECE) or M Sc in Applied Physics with specialization in Electronics.
For admissions to MCA the eligible candidates must have passed graduation in any stream with Mathematics at 10+2 level / BCA or equivalent.
For admissions to MBA the eligible candidates must have passed graduation in any discipline.

Undergraduate:
aFor B Tech courses admissions are done on the merit basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar and All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), where 15% seats of State-quota are reserved for candidates on the merit basis in AIEEE.
For direct entry to second year of B Tech admissions are done on the basis of Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET). The Government Seats are filled on the basis of Merit in LEET and Management seats are filled by College as per State Government policy.

Post Graduate:
For M Tech course two third seats are filled by State counseling under government quota and one third seats are filled by Management.
For MBA admissions are done on the basis of State level Management Entrance Test (MET). The government quota seats are filled on the basis of MET and management seats are filled through direct admission by College as per state government policy.
For MCA a State level Entrance Test is conducted by the University / State Govt to fulfill government quota seats where as management seats are filled through direct admission by College as per State Govt. policy.
