Course Details
A number of medical institutes in India are now conducting undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of dermatology. These courses are offered in both degree and diploma levels. To be eligible for the UG courses, aspirants must have passed in Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) with science stream. For the PG courses, graduation in relevant stream is mandatory from any recognized Institute or University.
Career Prospects
After completing course in dermatology, one can work as a dermatologist in private hospitals, nursing homes or government dispensaries. Setting up a clinic for treating skin diseases is also a good idea.
