Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Geologists' Exam, prominently referred to as UPSC Geologists' Exam, is one of the highly competitive job entrance examinations. The test is conducted every year to select competent candidates for posts under two categories in government sector. The category I comprise of Geologist Group A post in the Geological Survey of India, Ministry of Mines while category II comprises of Jr. Hydro geologists (Scientist B), Group A and Assistant Hydro geologists Group B posts in the Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources. Final selection of the candidate depends on his/her performance in written test, followed by interview for personality test.
