UPSC IES exam application forms can be obtained from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs.20/- Candidate applying in person must use the specific form supplied with the information brochure only.Candidates who are applying through Common Application form are required to pay a fee of Rs.100 through a single Central Recruitment Fee Stamp. There will be no exemption for OBC candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
Eligible candidates applying through online are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs.50/-, either by remitting the amount in any SBI branch by cash or by using net banking service of SBI or by using Visa/master Card/debit Card. Female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST/Physically Handicapped are exempted from the payment of fee. Candidates applying via post need to dispatch the duly filled application form to "Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069", so that the form reaches on or before 29th August of the year of exam.
