IAS Exam Registration Procedure
IAS Exam application forms 2011 can be obtained from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country, against cash payment of Rs.20/-. The application form contains an information brochure containing guidelines to fill the form and also contains an acknowledgment card along with envelope for sending the application form. A Central Recruitment Fee Stamp of Rs. 50.00 (Rupees Fifty only) denomination is affixed in the application form at the space provided therein. In case of candidates belonging to female category and SC/ST/Physically handicapped, the central recruitment fee stamp of Rs 50 domination is exempted. Candidates are required to affix a postage stamp of Rs. 6 on the acknowledgment card and post along with the Application form to UPSC.
