Combined Defence Services Examination, popularly known as CDS Exam, is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The examination is being conducted by the commission for those seeking employment in the defence services of the country. Candidates desirous to join the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Naval Academy (NA), Air Force Academy (AFA) or Officers' Training Academy (OTA) must appear for the test, as it is a very important criterion for recruitment in defence services. UPSC CDS Exam is the basic tool for evaluating the candidate’s ability to become defence personnel.
