Candidates need minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in second year Pre-University Examination or 10+2 from any other recognised board. There is a relaxation of 10 % for the SC/ST candidates. Engineering Diploma holders with 50% in final examination of the 3 year Diploma course are eligible for lateral entry.
